What are you looking to do with the rifle? Hunt? Long range? Tactical purposes? Do all?

I’ve had a Gen 3 POF (20”) and a LWRC REPR (20”), really liked them both (POF was ammo picky) but I ended up selling them cause while they were bad ass to look at, things weighed 16lbs scoped out and was really just a pain to move around and enjoy

Not an AR but I have a Tavor 7 and so far it’s been my “IT” 308, 16” barrel and basically the same size as a PS90 or SP5 SBR. I love short and compact and damn is it that. Not the lightest option but compact…..definitely

What’s the best accuracy you’ve gotten out of the T7?

I’m a fan of the compactness of bullpups, but from what I’ve seen, they missed the opportunity to have the shortest semi auto DMR, by not ensuring they were capable of ~1 MOA, and it seems the majority of owners just go, “Well, I didn’t get it for that, so my accuracy tests were using a 6 MOA red dot at 100yds with milsurp, while balancing on a beach ball…”

Really just considering a Palmetto Sabre since they seem to get a lot of good reviews on YouTube. Or maybe a Ruger SFAR?

Pity they discontinued it, but I like the DPMS G2 SASS. 18” barrel. Shoots sub-MOA with 175gr FGMM, and it’s not obnoxiously heavy.

What’s the best accuracy you’ve gotten out of the T7?

Accuracy so far….kinda skewed so I’m not going to be that accurate imo

I had a 50 yard zero with an Arken 1-8 that could hold .5-.75 moa suppressed very consistently. I’m currently using 147gr FMJ reloads with around 44.5gr of Win748 that I made over 10 years ago as “blasting” ammo

I have a 1-8 credo on there now and haven’t had the chance to test accuracy outside a quick range session, no bench

Plan on trying 100 yards before winter to see and get more time behind the glass. But also have plenty higher mag scopes I could try on it just for capability testing

I think people forget it has a 1:12 twist so by default I think most want to run 168gr match kings

I had a POF and a GAP at one time and yes ithey both were heavy so ended up selling them. That is why the Ruger SFAR is interesting. It seems to get mixed reviews though on accuracy.

I’ll probably do some hunting with it, mainly just target use though, farm use, etc. I have 3 different M1a’s, and several bolt rifles in .308 and have just been missing having the ar10 platform in my collection.

QVO on YouTube has a video on the Palmetto’s and man he was shooting the heck out of it out to like 900 yards. PSA quality has really come a long way it looks like. Thinking that may be the way I go just because of all the good reviews and didn’t really want to sink $2k+ into one that might not be shot that much.

Can't speak to the 308, but just built an AR15 for my son with a PSA build kit, and I was impressed with the quality, for the price.

Yes I’ve got many ARs and probably at least 4 are PSA’s and they all shoot very well. Honestly they seem to do just as well as my Colts and Novekse, DD and LMT.

on the expensive side but I really like the LMT MWS rifles. Easy and quick caliber/barrel swaps too if you ever want to run 6.5 creedmoor or if you just want to change to a different barrel length or from a stainless to a chrome lined barrel in .308.

They are heavy but shoot very smooth and have been very reliable in my experience.

I showed it to the bad man that made it and he said it was one of his favorites, thus far. I was a little worried that he’d take it back.
