  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Carothers and Guns

Man if I ever move to a free state, a suppressed .300 BLK SBR might be the one other rifle I build... although I recently got the itch for a .22 bolt action plinker so who knows how long this fantasy of "1 rifle to do it all" will last anyways.
I do have .30 and .22 suppressors. I just haven’t put the quick detach on this one yet.

Man, lately, I've been suffering from an illness that I call "Nostalgia".

I graduated the "Regional Police Academy" in 1992. Our guys shot a buttload of .357s...13's, 19's, 66's, 681's, 686's, Python's, Trooper's, Security Six's, etc., etc., etc.

Because of that, I've been beating the ass outta' ALL of my .357 Mag "Service Revolvers" as of late. .38 Special, .38 +P, .357 158gr's, and full-house 125gr Mags, you name it.

My little "Taurus 65" reminds me of some of the revolvers that we beat on back in the day, and (*shockingly) has survived a LOT of abuse...
