Awesome foursome! You have excellent taste in guns and knives!I’m a big fan of the Gusbuster and all his posts so this is kinda a homage to all his cool posts. The toughest handgun Mark 23, the toughest .357 revolver MR73, and arguably the toughest knife all hanging out together.

Years ago when I was working a case with the city of Miami P.D., I had occasion to go down to their range where I met Armando Valdes, one of their officers who had been a world champion with the Glock. (A standard Glock as I recall.) I did not know who he was at the time. No, the toughest handgun is the Glock. Here's my G21 hanging out with one of the toughest knives in the world, my Carothers UF.
These look like the apples that I picked as a kid for my mom to put in pie. In Beechfork Ky.

Thanks for sharing. I’m gonna see mom tomorrow and share with her.was a great year for apples around here since we didn't have a mid May frost. I actually planted a tree with KY roots 3 years ago, should bear fruit within 2 more years

Years ago when I was working a case with the city of Miami P.D., I had occasion to go down to their range where I met Armando Valdes, one of their officers who had been a world champion with the Glock. (A standard Glock as I recall.) I did not know who he was at the time.
He and the detectives must have decided in advance to play a joke, so while down there, Valdes started loudly complaining about his Glock, and flung the gun against the concrete floor and walls with a great deal of force. I watched this wondering what the hell was going on with this officer having a complete meltdown.
He then retrieves the pistol from the end of the range, goes back to the firing line and in rapid fire succession shoots a perfect smiley face on the target at its greatest distance. (I don't recall if it was more than 25 yards. It may have been.)
I then found out about Valdes notoriety as a pistol champ, and the torture tests he had been conducting on Glocks for the department for years. Running them over, burying them in sand, mud and underwater.
It was a riot.
I've been carrying Glocks since 1988 both on and off the job. My usual carry for CCW is a G26...either my Gen 2.5 or Gen 5.
(I also have a 19 and 17.)

Let's face it, Gus. Our Glocks and CPKs will be ready and willing to work long after we've cried "Uncle!". (Not that we ever would, of course.)
Wonder if we ever crossed paths back in the day. Hope we will someday in the future.
Maybe Elliott, looks like we use to roam the same stomping grounds back in the day. Hope I meet you someday my friend.^^^^
