So what do you think? The 'V2 project ', 7mm-270WSM wildcat.

It was built for distances past 1000 yards, firing Berger 180g in 7mm. As a wildcat there are several steps to prepping brass (opening up to 7mm and turning each one for the tight neck). I developed a really good load for it super promising based on 200-300 yards, but haven't had the chance to really stretch it out yet. I've moved a few times for work and this is nagging at me.So what do you think?
How does it perform?
It sure looks great.
That an apex trigger????
Nice. Give us a range report, please. Shortly before Sig released the P320 in 10mm, I finally got sick of waiting for it after years of rumors, and I went with the M&P 10mm. This is my go-to hiking gun (I live in grizz country) and it's been excellent - I've got close to 800 rds through it at this point.Paid for this big girl today and the red dot for a trip to Alaska next month. Was considering a 44 mag wheel gun but decided to compensate for my declining sight w/ more capacity and optics. The big question is, which CPKs should I bring ?View attachment 2217129View attachment 2217130
That's a sweet firearm. One of the best 10mm handguns around. Make sure you get hardcast rounds if you're planning on using it for bear defense. I highly recommend Gunfighters Inc for a good chest rig.Paid for this big girl today and the red dot for a trip to Alaska next month. Thank you for the great advice. I did grab some 220 gr Buffalo Boar and Grizzly flat nosed rounds…a box of target ammo too, of course. Went to 3 shops today and had zero luck on a chest rig.
