I was fishing a salmon run outside of Anchorage once, and when I looked to one side, I was looking up at the Chugach Mountains, an impressive glacier, bald eagles flying by. It was truly postcard-worthy.

If I looked 180º in the opposite direction, there was a car on fire, and beyond that, some dudes unloading full autos into the river bank.

And I thought to myself, "This is Alaska in a nutshell."

The full auto shooting with car on fire sounds like summer weekends at Jim Creek. Some crazy stuff goes on there, in addition to some great 4 wheeling, but not my cup of tea. I don’t like being around drunks with guns. I prefer my guns sober

It appears that the skeleton in the Mustang, on Bird Creek Trail, had relatives.
