Case Barlow is back

That color looks so much better, more reminiscent of their old redbone.

I personally pass on the SS blades instead of just living with it, I have a lot of disappointment when they offer another knife I want in covers I want then kill the deal with SS blades but at least I have more money in my wallet.
Thanks! Honestly, the red dye turned out so nice that it’s a double bummer that the blades are stainless. If they were CS or CV, this knife would be just about perfect.

But then again, if the blades were carbon steel, the dye would’ve discolored them. It just wiped right off the stainless blades.

I got this one in yesterday. Black & Red Dymalux Wood.

I've been saying it for a few years now, there are some patterns Case is able to consistently produce fairly well and their Barlow is definitely one of them.

The very first Case I ever bought was a black delrin Sodbuster Jr that had an absolutely 100% perfectly ground edge on it, and the only other Case knives I have bought that came close were Barlows.
They edges on the main blades were both a solid 90%.
There must be 1 particular solid employee who grinds the edges on their Barlows.
