• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Case/Bose 2011 Collaboration

I've had lots of fun reading this thread. :) Thanks to all that posted those gorgeous pics.

I'm looking forward to the next Bose/Case collab, whatever it may be.

Seriously, the Case Prototypes that come out of the Prototype Shop in Bradford usually have Paul Lipps or Mike Dubois and the other guy(forget his name???) personal stamps on the liner. I just think it would be a nice touch on the collabs, but, but, but... :P  ;) :D

I'm not chatting, I'm imparting deep, inner circle secrets. Put me on "ignore":p:thumbup::cool: :D

I am very excited about this one. I foresee that I'll have to set money aside every year for the Case Bose collaboration from now on out.

Kerry, I have a Case Stockman with a Long Tail "C" and the initials MJD engraved on the liner. Is this a prototype and the MJD would be Mile Dubois?

Yes folks...we have a winner! That is from Mike. Great guys there in the Prototype Shop. Mike helped me put together a Case Toothpick a couple summers ago.

I remember...and didn't he think you were weird for putting a big swedge on it???

FYI...I'm still awaiting the official okeedokee from Case to post the prototypes that Tony sent to Bradford. As soon as I get that you'll see 'em. ;)

So can I just send Case the bill for my depends. I never have to buy 'em until it gets close to Blade until now.

I decided to "train" myself on coffin jacks by purchasing a Winchester 2921 which came today. I think I'm going to be pretty easy to train on this pattern; I like that knife a lot. So now, I'm twisting the sheet and chomping the bit to see the pictures and even more for an opportunity to buy one. I will own one of them. Somehow.

Here ya go, folksy friends...the 2011 Case/Bose Collab. Prototypes. This is NOT an easy knife to make so they will have their game face on with this one. That said, they made the lockback whittler so everything else is a piece of cake after that. :D
