Case Tony Bose Collabs pic and discussion thread.

Matt_WY Matt_WY thank you for sharing!! I had found the one on Case's website about the 'Old Dog' Toothpick and thought it'd be a peace of cake to get the rest.. well, not so much. Really neat, though realizing 2010 was 12 13 years ago is another matter.

I picked up this 2003 Case Tony Bose limited Edition Dog Leg Jack #01302, TB522003, ATS34, Stag handle knife today. I looks to be NIB, the box, leather case and knife all look very nice, there is one faint scratch on one bolster.

Can anyone give a value of this knife? Thanks.

Angry Waiter Angry Waiter bigfish64 bigfish64 I was going to comment that mine felt nice and solid, but if i'm remembering right, I got this from the forums and the prior owner had sent it in for some TLC at Case. So while that anecdotal story isn't super helpful, I will say that the knife after warranty is nice :)

That is a great shot of the quality of these knives. Very nice! 😎👍
I'm a big fan of the Wilfred Lockback Hunter, so when I came across this Damascus version in Molasses Bone, resistance was futile... :)

Wow, absolutely beautiful Jim! 😎👍

Best kind of ugly! I like the weight of the frame in-hand, and with either blade deployed it feels "nimble" to me. Just a great knfe all around, beautifully executed, and a delight to own as something designed by master knifemaker Tony Bose.
This one is my fifth Case /Bose collab. I have a couple Premium Stockmans, a Cattle Knife, and a Eureka. They're all a bit heavier & sturdier feeling than similar knives by Case, GEC, etc. I like that.

Ran across this note by Tony Bose about the collabs. Thought others might find it of interest. His comment about people hesitant to carry a collab, but driving a $30,000+ truck is a good one. I carry the 2019 model, a Bullnose every day. Love it.

I’m new to tradional knife collecting which includes the Case/Tony Bose collaboration knives, are all Case knives that have the TBxxxxxx model numbers “Collaboration“ knives? Thank.

Very cool, thanks for sharing this. I only have 3 of these, but really like them. I have the WT, Cattle knife and Dogleg jack. Great knives from a great collaboration of makers!

Maybe this will help. Some Case knives, like the sowbelly, saddle horn, tribal lock, etc, are not the official yearly Case/Bose collaborations, but will have TBxxxx model numbers.
A thread from way before my time here on BF in 2007:

Tony's reply:
These sowbellies and saddlehorns are a regular Case production knife and is their catalog that I designed for them. They are not a Case-Bose colbration that is issued only once a year. They are about $50-60range and offer a good value for no more than they cost. Someone can buy one and take care of it and it will last for years. They are made in the USA by Americans and I'm proud of that.
