Finally! Just sold my 940 a few weeks ago in anticipation of the C.F. one coming out. Now I'm definitely regretting it.
 
Deathofallthings, those are amazing! If I wasnt moving to a new house at the end of next month I would be PMing you asap for some 943 scales. Im kind of torn between Keymans ivory snake scales and your G10, damn I hate tough decisions lol.
 
DOAT, I agree with Blade-fiend, Sir. The 940 being one of my all-time favorites, the only thing that's held me back were the Al scales. Now I'll have to come up with a new excuse not to get one. Sweet, man!
 
So this is what I have been up to lately. Lots of nice colors, all are using barrel spacers. Fully CNC'd.
Again, you only get a picture of one side because it's really annoying taking my knife all the way apart a bagillion times. :)

Blue G10... The g10 for this is backordered for a couple weeks.






OD Green G10


Tan G10


Orange G10


Red G10, it's somewhat translucent


Coarse Black Peel Ply G10


But it has nicely radiused edges so it's easy on your hands.


Black G10


Blue and Black Layered G10. The top layer of blue is only a single layer, so you get a really dark blue as the top layer and a brighter blue racing stripe. :)


Coyote Brown G10


And Carbon Fiber... these are a pain in my butt to make.





 
Awesome work on those scales. If I ever get a 940 I'll be getting in contact with you for a set.
 
DOAT, those are great looking, especially with barrel spacers! Gladly sending money your way for a set of these.
 
Yeah but Doat. That carbon fiber looks effin amazing. You have yourself a decent business going for sure. Great work!
 
Thanks Keyman! Standoffs and screws were perfect. Big headache savings. I threaded a set for another knife by hand and it was a time consuming.
 
I am pleased with the 707! I also really like the way the Mini-Grip turned out with the inlayed liners. I think it adds a nice touch to have the black lines hidden in the black G-10. The orange and green just gives it character. It has the standoffs I threaded...PITA. The overall shape was something I drew up just to be a bit different. I have since added a third standoff just because I had it the factory liner would accommodate it.

DOAT I'm really digging the 94X scales. Really nice and is leaps and bounds better than the aluminum. May need a custom set for my future 940-1 in the coming months. Any word on the silver LSCF material?
