CBM's - Customized Benchmade's

That's awesome brother! ive been on bf for a little while now..i'll get a video up with the new backspacer soon! That's cool that you're subed to me too :P

Damnit now I've gone and drilled a bunch of holes in my 710..... and I have to admit visually it improves an otherwise pretty bland knife. I've had it forever and never thought of modding it in any way. THanks for the inspiration.

Thats quite possible. I made them the same size as the existing lanyard hole. I'm not so sure how much I like the holes in the blade though.

Dremel, belt sander and a drill press here. I do program CNC machines at work and I have recently bought a small mill for my basement that will be converted to CNC to make scales and a few other projects easier. I wouldn't hold your breath though, going to be awhile before all that is up and running. Even when it is though, it would be extremely difficult to match something like the rift or contego exactly. Even if I could, I don't believe I would. I wouldn't want to step on any toes over at benchmade and get shut down by their legal department. It's best to make some changes when you're doing after market replacement things and have the ability to create large batches of a product at once.

For now it's just running manual, but it's helpful for making stuff like this at least. Would have been really hard to do that and have the CF and wood meet up seamlessly without a mill.
