Afternoon fellas!

Well I went to the store to buy some Co2 cartridges and pellets, but ended up buying a new pellet gun as well! It just got a full trigger tune, and will need some breaking in as well. Maybe tonight.

Got a date with the wifey tonight, gonna go have some killer sushi (mmm, coddled quail eggs!!) and watch The Wizard of Oz in Imax 3D.

Also, Daniel, here's a video for you and Jade, its the animal sounds to a real catchy tune...

I wish I had a Porsche to drive while the Benz was down. I do have a station wagon...

Turns out it was just a tranny pan gasket that was blown and the fluid level ran low. I spent most of the afternoon replacing the filter, fluid, and gasket, she's back to running great ! This car will be 17 years old, but I can't bear to let her go.

Nice! Heat treat is what makes a piece of steel turn into a knife, lol that and a bunch of grinding!!! I'm happy for you.

Hand sanding only a few knives... been on them for days! I found myself getting impatient today but remembered these are $600 kitchen knives I am making... just going for a lot less!

I made Sushi for a long time as a chef and have never tried the quail eggs... then again we weren't allowed to as they were flown in fresh. Loads of tuna though... I love sushi! Want to try it all. Have a great evening!

Porsches rock... one day I will have an old school 924s or 944 turbo, they are a steal too! Same with any Mercedes, quality cars.

You rock fixing that, sometimes that is a tricky fix!


...been hand sanding ironwood and 52100 all day, these are going to be nuts! After glue-up I'm back on the folders.

Did someone say sushi? I feakin love sushi . Uni with a tiny sheso leaf and a raw quail egg on top. MMMMMMMMM
I worked in a shop that did a lot of Porsche work and got to drive a few pretty BA German frogs. One of the most fun was a super worked 76 911 , motor blue printed and balanced with a big nasty turbo with a redonkulus waste gate. Roll cage , Recaro seats with 5 points. I took it up to around 180 and it was smooth as glass. That was fun!

No shift kit in the benz, but I do have paddle shifters, a programmable shift kit, and a limited slip diff in the Mag. Makes hard corners at the track so much more fun to take

IMWILSON! I understand, I draw the line at raw scallops myself.

When I made sushi we would eat so much of it... I made rice which they say takes 2-3 years to master... since I was pretty much in charge it was funny that I made the rice but when I quit they had to call me in for weeks to get the rice right, lol!

It is not raw fish and eggs , it is raw sea urchin and egg I know , you are all :barf:

Mornin squatches.

Mmm, sushi! I had edemame, fried calimari apetizers, hamachi, crab, ahi and avocado in a roll with spicy tuna sauce. Two uzura shooters, 4 uzura nigiri, a kirin beer and split a bottle of saki with the wife.

The uzura shooters are fantastic! Decap the quail eggs, seperate yolks and return them to the shell. A drop of srirachra, a drop of soy sauce, some vinegar-y type stuff, and a couple thin slices of green onion.

Uzura nigiri, rice wrapped in sea weed to form a cup, crack two quail egg yolks on top. I like a touch of wasabi and some spicy house sauce.

The movie last night was pretty cool, but I couldn't believe all the rude people in the theater! Cheering, singing along, clapping, even taking pictures during the film! It was just the Wizard of Oz! The worst part is they were all old people who probably saw this when it first came out!

Anyways, gonna go shoot my new pellet pistol a bit before work. Have a good one y'all!
