:D Hey guys!

Buy stock in sandpaper now, I'm personally upping the use of it by at least 20% worldwide. :D

...Ironwood is no joke! I think it is harder to grind than steel. Hardened steel.... I've been on three handles for three days now, they just look incredible!

Pics tomorrow, they are my best work yet. I've been testing the kitchen knives too, while cool they are a bit scary to use! slice tomato with the knife weight alone...

Yo, sup? Been hangin with some friends today. That's right I HAVE friends! My buddy brought over a knife that he had a knife shop sharpen for him. Holly hell did the jack that thing up! It looked like they used one of those old can opener's with the knife sharpener on the back from the late 70's,it was baaaad. He hooked me up with one of those leather barber strops,it is pretty cool I will have to give it a try.
Sandpaper? Did someone say sandpaper? I freakin love me some abrasives! I get super happy when I get a box from Pop's.
Daniel, would it be easier to do most of the shaping of the ironwood handles by carving them ? Just a idea,I'm not sure it would work or not but if it does it will save on belts and sandpaper.
Jen and I are going out for some raw fish and sake tonight to celebrate 3 years of her putting up with me.:D Thanks y'all for all the congratulatory comments yesterday! Jen says thanks also. Well gotta get ready to go. Have a good one

Congratulations on the Anniversary! :D

carving the ironwood might be cool, it clogs belts like no other! I can only compare it to grinding stone...

Pops rocks... just got a box in myself! $225 of belts... he is the man for belts and random supplies. Cool to see you throwing down the support, I need to do a Pops feedback thread in the Good, Bad and Ugly.

Can opener sharpener, lol! Those are rough... now that I am really getting serious about kitchen knives I consider a good one along with sharpening setup a necessity.

Enjoy the sushi! Kanpai!

Evening gents.

You too Rolf.

WooHoo, go Oracle Team USA! An amazing comeback for the win in the Americas Cup!

I need to watch more futbol. Love it. Only sport worth watching :]

Enjoy the day guys!

Morning y'all!

Got my latté, but it hasn't taken effect yet. Was up way too late last night playing with the D200, was experimenting with light painting. Didn't get to bed until about 0230! Good thing I don't work today.

Make it a good one you bunch of miscreants, skaliwags, barnacle blisters, bilge rats and cabin boys (that's you Kevin!)
