Morning y'all.

I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. Going on two weeks now with some upper respiratory crap, and sinus congestion as well. Its gotten bad the last two days, been living by the nebulizer and albuterol. Hate that stuff, makes my heart race.

Did a little mor turning last night, but no way I'm getting near that power tool while feeling like this.

Rise and Grind! Another glorious day out there!!!

More work, blah. Tonight I'm putting another extension on an existing workbench, tearing off a dilapidated old shelf, adding more pegboard and putting up a new, bigger shelf. I'll get back to grinding sometime :P

I think I might be getting over this respiratory issue, starting to feel a little better but not 100% yet.

Its a beautiful morning here! Sunny, 65* calm breeze. I might just have my breakfast on the patio today.

Busy day ahead, lots going on! My new belt order is getting used quickly. I've had the grinder at full-tilt for the last few days using 36 belts. :eek: Filled a bucket nearly full of metal this week...

I'm trying to keep up with the kitchen knife requests, it has been nuts! :D I'm more than happy with the response. Once I get a few more patterns out there I'm back on the folders. I've been slowly working on them...

The in-laws are staying here for a while ad it has been really nice. I have been very behind around the house as I usually just spend m time in the shop... we have been preparing for what looks like a serious Winter. I'm expecting around 6' of accumulation b the looks of the local mullein. (you can often gauge the general snowfall by their growth)

Sara has been doing lampwork for a while now and for her Birthday I am getting her a Borosilicate torch! We might see some real cool lanyard beads soon. :D
 
Daniel, I figured you might have heard about this deal...I think we've settled.

Sounds like Sara has been busy! Cool stuff! 6' of nasty white coldness?! You must be crazy, just plain crazy. Oh, and for wintertime pictures, you use the same settings as you would for the beach on a sunny day, starting at f/16 maybe f/22 for iso 100.

Almost time to take the kid to school, be back in a bit.
