Two nights in a row of being up with a sick kid. Summer cold, spiked a fever while at school yesterday and their policy is he has to be out for 24 hours. The wife has been working at 3 am lately so I have been trying to let her sleep. Well today I worked late and she got off early so she let me sleep in! I really needed it. Hard to function on 5 hours sleep in 48 hours.

Had a big breakfast, eggs, sausage, toast, yogurt, coffee, milk. Feeling much better today!

Of course when I get feeling better, something else is bound to happen. Well, the Internet at work is down, so using the old receipt book and knuckle buster to ring people up. It's been off and on all morning too. Damn IT guy installed a new workstation and did some stuff on our POS machines, I blame him...

Yo! I hope everyone is having a good one! We got in early this afternoon from Creede, CO! It was a ton of fun and did not resemble the band in any way. :p

I have a few scenery pics to load up tomorrow... it was epic!

Busy day here at work. Finally getting a haircut afterwords, then back in the shop. Getting some amazing progress going; about time!

:D ^ Now that is pretty good.

Sometimes when I was in this punk band we would start a gig with the first riff of "Can you take me higher" just to jack with people!

I'm not a fan of the band Creede but am still impressed that their first album (with all of the hits) was recorded with their own money on the weekends. They all worked crappy jobs and produced that album for next to nothing.

I'm working on A2 tantos today as they "need" a bit more hand sanding. I got the sheath hardware in and found my old stuff too... so sheaths are going together and they are almost ready for pics!

S7 recurves are complete besides the sheath hardware (and I must check fit of course) so look out for many knives ready soon!

I ordered more stuff for folders... screws, taps, reamers and other needed supplies. I finally found some marbled carbon fiber too... :D

Yes, a few pretty bad ones! lol drummer... I also had my own rock band where I played guitar and still need to get my electronic music out there...

favorite Punk Bands - Misfits, Minor Threat, Black Flag, Bad Religion, Bad Brains, Descendants, lots of random stuff...

I don't have much... I need to get my friend to put our music on a digital format so I can listen to it again! I mostly have practice tapes...

I do have a CD I distributed, I need to put it onlne. It is a mix of drum and bass, house and ambient music. I probably have 2000 hours in it...

Rock on brotha! I'm partial to Dead Boys, MIA, Misfits, Govt issue, husker du and adolescents in addition to the ones you listed...At least for old school stuff.

"Something I learned today" by husker du is probably my favorite punk song of all time. Tough call though.

Those are all awesome bands! I like some of the newer punk stuff too. I'm really into music in general and like almost all genres with harder rock and electronica being my favorites.

I need pics! The micarta and G10 tantos are done! :D The ironwood is not far behind at 1500 grit on one and 600 on the other. (I had to go back to 400 on the red linered one) I think the extra time between coats and overall process with the Danish Oil has been more than worth the extra effort.

^ That's right! I'm loving the high satin finish it is at. I'll let it dry more tomorrow then go to 2000 and 2500 on Saturday. That will probably be it besides a hand buffing with a soft cloth as this Ironwood is taking a high finish very well.

Perfect timing too, I'm on vacation starting at 1pm tomorrow. This will be just another awesome event of the next 10 days!
 
Goooooooood Morning!

It's my day off! And it couldn't have come sooner. This week just drug on. Got my new bolt yesterday for the AR15, got some other parts on the way still, still haven't received my orange monster. Think I'm going to go out for machaca this morning. Love me some machaca!
