Another busy day!

I got into my office and there were Flies. Flies everywhere. It was borderline biblical. I asked around to see if someone hid a dead fish or something. Crazy! D:

Weather is awesome though! 57 when I woke up, in the high 60's now!

I got stuck in traffic this morning and it made me 10 minutes late to work, rather 15 early!

Should have a tang stamp in this week. Gotta get a few more things made before I can send a batch off for HT. Hopefully Peters doesn't lose them this time around.

You guys have any experience with portable generators? Thinking of buying one for the home before Winter.

Rolf........wtf are you doing awake at 7 min. to 4?!!!!
Bobby, Flies ? Now I want to watch Amityvile Horror.
Good mornin' to you fine folk.

I had that happen at home once. Wife and I went for a walk, 45 minutes later we come home and there are thousands of flies all over the house! It was ridiculous! Probably tens of thousands! I got the vacuum out and just started sucking them out of the air and off the walls! We ended up sleeping somewhere else when after an hour of that I'd didn't appear to make a dent in the invasion. I thought something died under our house but never found out what it was.

Honda. Quiet, easy to start, little maintenance, holds it value. Have had one for the last 5 years. Never a problem. I had a big Homelite one for working in remote areas when I did foreclosures, it was a bit finicky, but did ok.

Rolf lives in another dimension of space and time...:p

Morning y'all!

Going to pick up some tools and fixtures so I can assemble the lower to my AR15 today. Also, I was asked to show some prints this coming week for our local Beer Week! Now to get them printed and mounted.

Make it awesome. Like totally rad kind of awesome!

Honda. RGR. Will check that out.

When I was putting mine together, I found having a Razorblade and my bench vise very useful. I actually used the vice to install the punch pins >_>

Bobby,I do not have any experience with generators myself but when I was in Alaska it seemed like everyone had Honda generators. That leads me to believe that they are reliable because if your stuff breaks out in the middle of BFE it is a major PITA.

That's how I roll....

Bobby, I actually got my lower built without the bench vise. I have a wood anvil block I use for many things and it worked well for supporting the lower in all positions. Everything went together well. The forward takedown pin is what I'm assuming you were using the razor blade for? I have the assembly tool for that, makes life so much easier! Milspec trigger which is actually not that bad, heavy but nice. I'll be throwing a "yellow spring" kit in it soon.

Yo!

...just in and waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too tired! I owe you guys a bunch of emails soon. :D

generators - look for Honda motors if you can, I have a Generac and it is also very nice... the Japanese made generators seem to be good in general. Generators are like grinders and vary wildly in price depending on the quality.

Xander that pic rocks!

^ If you ever buy an old bayonet or gun with Cosmoline on it you won't forget! lol I have a Mauser Bayonet and I bet the grease is WWII era! No rust though...

Good Morning Xander!

Yeah, cosmoline is some crazy stuff. I've had barrels that were WWI surplus packed in cosmoline and wrapped in paper and not even a spot!
