I know, based on the information from the actual website, that there are exactly 500 made of the Natural Canvas Micarta (Special Factory Order). And Jiki and yourself put 118 Green. So going to assume this is also an accurate total number produced.

One of the reasons I love GEC - they allow the customers to see how many were made of each (every ?) knife produced. I really wish other companies would do this.

It's like my 2nd Christmas when the numbers are finally released (I wait with great expectation each year).

I guess it won't make them any profit. They just make a sh*tloads of them, like Case who make their "vault pattern" for a year or so. Imagine an overall production totals of Ontario RAT folders, haha.
 
I think this knife is cool. I don’t own any GEC’s because as usual I got an email notification that a certain company had gotten these in stock, an hour later when I opened the email they were all gone. I am assuming this is the pattern on GEC knives, so how does anyone get them without paying extravagant after market prices?
 
Really liking my natural canvas. I noticed the spring is sunken at the half stop rather than flush or a little proud like most of my knives with half stops. Is it anything to worry about functionally?

Joan said 530 black so far but that number could change per fb. They’ll update in 2023 and we can know for sure!

First step - live (actually live there, put up a tent, forget the rest of your house even exists, for that matter anything else in your life) in front of your computer or glue your phone to your hand.

That is what I was thinking 🤣 Oh well, I guess I will just have to dream and save up for aftermarket prices if I ever see one I absolutely have to have

The springs on mine are sunken at the half stop as well. I have a few knives with springs like that. Never had an issue.

Good to know. I put a fresh edge on it last night and threw it in the pocket this morning. I think it’s gonna make a great work knife.
