If there were phones made in America I would have bought one. Notice I said "when possible".

Phones are a good example. Almost every person has a smartphone. If, say, all IPhones were made in America, how many jobs would that create? Instead they are made by child labor in China working 16 hour days for less than a dollar an hour.

Maybe the kid that built my iPhone can work some overtime and build you a couple cold steel knives.

Yeah, iphone is made by chinese kids, because it's Asia, because only in USA is FREEDOOM. It's silly and ignorant. My production knives are USA, Japan and Taiwan made, and guess what. Taiwan made are as good as USA made or even better. So I don't think that my knives were made by small kids who are exhausted because 16h work day. BTW Spyderco made 2/3 of their knives in Asia.

there's also the blacked out Rajah II, discontinued as well, which I found hard to find and expensive but truly worth it!

With profound apology to Peacent for thread hi-jacking:But, for economically challenged ol' me - my choice is unfortunately often between a copy/ clone or no knife at all . Nobody has offered to finance my jones !

Thanks to OP for the heads up warning because nobody wants to pay brand name prices for a copy -which are pretty much always much inferior to the real deal .

The idea that OP has somehow advertised something that potential clone buyers couldn't find themselves in a few seconds net search is ludicrous .

And I love seeing all the "buy USA only" folks loading up carts madly at the WallyWorld !

The thread jumped the shark. Guy posts a counterfeit heads up which people routinely do, then it's a cold steel bashing thread and a member here has the audacity to ask another member to justify why he carries a certain knife. Who cares why he carries a big knife I thought we all liked knives here? This behavior is pretty terrible, thanks for the heads up OP.
