That is the Ruger Gunsight Scout. A .308 I bought it for hogs but it has become my favorite hunting rifle. In Missouri we can shoot one buck and I think does are still unlimited.

Nice, also use 308. For deer don't really need anything else.

And that's super frickin nice about being able to take as many does as you want/need.

Here in upper mn, it's usually one buck only a year, this year they had lottery for doe though, one buck or doe for those that won.
 
Here you can shoot one antlered deer to be legal it HAS to have 4 full points on one side. It's a fairly new rule that is supposed to make us have more mature bucks
 
That's actually a great law imo, especially since you guys can shoot as many does as you want. Everybody should be able to fill the freezer with at least a doe or two then. Good to let them get bigger, getting sick of shooting young bucks but don't have a choice, them or nothing since ain't seeing any older ones around and can't shoot does most years.

Haha. 10 stitches per eyelid, with the dried blood, makes it look like I have eyeliner on. Plus, of course, they're swollen. I have to ice them down every 45 minutes, for 15 minutes, today and tomorrow, then, warm wash cloth to the them to promote healing.

It would make sense that you'd have trouble accessing such a traumatic memory without some re-integration therapy. I'm totally convinced.
