Suggest away.....you're still missing the point - his whole premise of restraint and struggle is wrong.
Unless they don't all fit in his vehicle - in which case his question should be "which trailer should I get?"

I believe we might all be missing the real question here. Does he have them all? If not, is there enough time to order and receive the ones he's missing in time for this trip?

I think were gonna need a flow chart for this one.

Nice lids, Dubz!

This weekend, I spent some time at a nearby bluff trying out a new length of Sterling HTP 9mm rope. Here's a wrap 3, pull 2. I also tried a new carabiner to set anchor: Rock Exotica Pirate Screw-Lock.

A slight redirect helped give me the right angle off the edge and prevented the rope from deflecting around that little tree in the foreground. Also used a Rock Exotica Pirate here.

The second smaller line in the pics above is a new safety tether system I put together with 6mm cordage and two 4mm prusiks for adjustment. It worked great while I was setting edge protection and while I was loading and locking off my descender. Here's a picture of how it works.

Edge protection!

Since I was rappelling alone, I used an autoblock.

I spent my time practicing changeovers between descending and ascending, all with the the Sterling ATS.

Here's the little practice bluff--probably 25' or so. I might take a tape with me next time to measure. I climbed it (completely ascended rope) a couple of times.

Packed up and ready to head back home.

Damn, that's complex. Round here we just get her liquored up and hop up in the truck bed.

How are you liking that Sterling HTP? I have a 60m section in 3/8" diameter. Impressed so far. Rock Exotica makes excellent hardware and all of it in the US (Salt Lake City). Great company and Rock is a great guy. Yes, that's really his name. Nice use of a BD chalk bag BTW! The Sterling ATS is super-versatile. Do you like it?

I also have some 9mm Sterling SafetyPro, but I like the HTP a lot better. It has a tougher sheath, but it's still easy to knot, and it works well with the ATS. The ATS, by the way, rocks as far as all the ways you can adjust friction and all the ways you can use it. I would like to see a version in steel that is rated for rescue.

Yeah, the chalk bag works well in that application, and the whole system packs up nice and neat.

Smoke and prayers please. Just woke up to the news that grandma is in the hospital with diverticulitis, a bladder infection, and a couple smaller things.

So, before I go to final publication, I wanted y'all to check this draft to make sure I've got it all included so I don't end up with the wrong outcome.

Edits welcomed.

Looks good to me!! Haha

Most here are familiar with the photos I take. I've been using a little Sony Cybershot DSC-W55. Been a great little camera for me. I've had it for 10 years, and think I payed around $200 for it. A few years back, my son was using it at Yellowstone, while I was taking video. He forgot it was on his lap, got out of the car, and it fell into a deep mud puddle. Took him about 20 seconds or so to find it. I thought it would be toast. I opened the battery door, removed the battery and sd card, and set it on a heater to let it dry out. The next morning I slapped it back together, and it worked. The flash never worked the same, but it still worked. The video had a bluish tint to it as well, but I never used the video anyways. I have a video camera for that. Anywhos, the last time we were at the cabin, I accidentally knocked it out of the loft, in case, falling to the floor. I took it out to test it out, and again, it still worked, but now you have to push the button down hard, to get it to take a photo. Harder to keep the photos in focus, of course. I looked on ePrey, and found one just like it. Payed $27 shipped for it. The case it came in was exactly like the one I had, plus it had the charger, cords, and 2 batteries. Thing is like freakin' new, so, back in business. Couldn't be happier.

Very cool about the camera Dubz, I for one would hate to see you out of the photo biz.

Thanks man. I always thought about upgrading, but hell, I'm already familiar with this one, and it works great. I am a photo taking fool. The chrome is worn off my original where I hold it, haha.

BTW, nice looking pair above.

Did you just???? Surely not....it is a family friendly forum still, right?

*snark*

Glad you are still in the pic business.

Nice looking Sig and 17, Trade.

I was waiting for someone to say something about it, haha. Thought it would be bigghoss. He's slipping in his old age.

Haha glad things went well warrior!!

Thanks TBL... But my birthday is in March lol

And this children is why TBL shouldn't do drugs and play on BF. Provides with some entertainment tho.

Grats on the new pup!
