Cliches to Live By

Improvise - Adapt - Overcome

Don't complain about what you can't change

If you can change something for the better you are obligated to act

"Give a man a fish, feed him for a day~Teach a man to fish, and he will be worthless for life"

The bad part about being a buzzard is that sooner or later you have to land and eat with the other buzzards.

You have no obligation to a fool

Nobody else knows what they are doing either so seize the moment

The world is run by those who show up

"Grant me an unflawed beginning today, for I have done nothing yet." CS Lewis

"He that will believe only what he can comprehend must have a very long head or a very short creed" Charles Caleb Cobb

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will most likely die of mercury poisoning.

Everything in moderation.

If you see an unknown dog running towards you... whistle and yell 'good boy'!

At five, I was convinced my dad was a superhero but by age ten I knew him to be mortal.
At fifteen he became a total fool and didn’t come out of it until I was 20.
Between twenty and thirty he turned into an absolute genius.
From thirty to fifty he was wisdom personified.
He has since passed into legend.
