Cold Steel= flat out liars

their video gets a lot of talking about

I have only seen clips from it , but to me it seems that what they do with their knives as if it is a big deal is not really such a big deal .... especially the meat attacking bits ....

I like Cold Steels products, though all my knives are production line makers knives including my Moore pocketknife. I want to get thier R1 Military Classic Randall copy next.
 
I like posting in CS threads to say how much I dislike CS threads, thereby bumping them to the top. I present 2 u my superior logik

actually, a merged thread would be nice.

Cold Steel makes some good knives. If all some one can say is "I do not like the videos or the owners personality." ignore it and look and see what some one says about a knife and remember that it is the internet. Some peoples hate is just as hyped as the video. They have some knives I would not buy and some I would just like any other knife maker. I have multiple Cold Steel products and have only been truly disapointed with one which is the Bushman Bowie.
 
I had a cold steel Canadian belt knife , the closest can compare it is to a thickish Taiwanese made paring knife I happen to have , both originated in the same country BTW ...
Its not bad for a stainless knife , but I has expected better , just because of the company profile I guess

then Cold Steel hijaked an Okapi design , I mean , to copy someones design that is a up market and top rated knife is one thing , people buy cheap knock offs because they cannot afford the real deal , but to copy an Okapi that is a cheapie knife , make it out of lesser quality materials and then claim it is better than the original cheapie and charge more for it than the original ( total cost landed I mean , P+H as well as purchase price ) can be bought off feebay for

that sux its marketing I guess and people go for it , but it sux

but that is my opinion only tho
