Collectorknives.net #85 SFO?

I think the ivory bone looks fantastic and the shield suits me fine. I might just have to change over from my ebony reservation to the ivory bone.

Sent Mike an email last night for a liner lock in ivory bone. After I saw that pic, I had to.

What a great run (so far)! I will keep my reservation for the African Blackwood. I have a small Sebenza in ABW and really love the look of those scales. I have heard that it is coveted for it's density and durability.

Can't wait!

Me too!
I've been dying to see how the Antique Yellow bone looks on this SFO...fabulous

Wow.... after seeing that buffalo horn, I may have to get one of these! I'm a sucker for nice, swirly horn.

The African black wood looks great! Hope I get an email soon...

knifeswapper, Sir,

I am new to this process and would like to join what i would assume is a long waiting list for the buffalo horn blades. Thanks for your time. hawkdmc at dmcedillo@hotmail.com.

Mike Latham -

Your system of reserving and selling your SFO knives is becoming wayyyyyyyyyyyy too complicated. Reserve a knife by e-mail but don't reserve it by PM, etc..

Just sell the knives "First come First serve" as they come in.

I wonder how many of these African Black Wood covered knives will be passed off as Ebony covered knives in the future?

What's wrong with ebony wood with brown streaks. I've got several that are that way. I have a GEC ebony covered #79 Montana Workhorse Whittler (not a true whittler) knife with brown streaks in the ebony covers on my desk as I type this. If I wanted to darken it up a bit, all I'd have to do is rub in a little Black Min-wax Stain.

Pretty sure that Mike prefers to do things *his* way...but, just a guess:
If he gets an e-mail he knows for sure exactly where all the pre-orders are, there would be no "well, I've got 37 reserved thru PM on BFC, and 61 reserved thru my e-mail..."
Order your own SFO and you can reserve, or sell in whatever way you want ;)
