My favorite axe measured 1 3/8 width and 3 1/2 circumference. It is a "cruiser" size.

Thanks bud!! That helps a bunch.

Once i got my design to scale the handle would be 1.6652" wide at 15" OAL or 1.8872" wide at 17" OAL . And thats a bit too wide for comfort even at 15" OAL IMO. I think ill thin the handle a bit, down to 1.2" would be good i think?? But keep the length at ~15". I dont have huge hands.... So a little smaller is not that bad, but too wide would ruin the ergonomics.

I just noticed i mixed up the words diameter and circumference too.... Not the first time...

Circumference just sounds like a conference of circus clowns or something even more perverted HAHA

Then you gotta come along and start throwing up other goodies. I tell ya, one of these days I'm going to make my banker get a profile so he can see where all these good ideas come from.
 
Well, it looks like the house hunt is back on. As much as we would love to stay in downtown Toronto, there is no way we can justify a million dollar fixer-upper. We were thinking about moving about an hour north to the city to Barrie, but the train commute is a bit too long for Christine. So, it looks like our search has shifted to Hamilton. Fingers crossed that we can find something appropriate. We really hope we can find a place with a sufficiently large garage for a climbing gym.
 
Finally got to run again. Being cooped up and snacking takes a toll. Sidewalks were still iced over, but I went over to a nearby high school and ran around the track.

About to go bury a dead bird my daughter found. I guess it succumbed to the cold weather. She's had it covered up until the ground thawed, and we're about to send it off right with a Cold Steel Special Forces shovel.

trade, you're on your own. I'm in recovery (I think).

Went to walmart earlier, and some lady packed in to us, scratched in the back bumper on te drives side. We've only had te car for a couple months :grumpy:

Awesome pack trade :thumbup: if I had the money I would of seriously thought about it

I hear you about the running. It's been a bleak season up here. Windchill temps have been brutal and just too much snow on the ground.

What the heck were you doing up there?. I'll be honest, if there were more job opportunities we would consider Manitoulin. The limestone climbing cliffs there are staggering.
