Concerns About Survive! Business and Misleading Lead Time Estimates

I've just sent an email requesting a refund for my 4.1, so this is now my 3rd order I've terminated.

I only have one outstanding order, which is the 4.7 preorder I paid for 17 months ago. In this same email I politely asked if my 4.7 will ship before the end of the year........so let's see what happens!

I think it's really sad what's happening with this company.
It's unfortunate that this thread started in the first place, but despite all the negativity and personal attacks that some members have inflicted upon others, some posts have been very helpful with informing us of what's most likely happening behind the scenes in this company.

if I would have known about this thread with this forum, I would have cancelled my order months ago.you have no idea how aggravated I am with this company. If they was to issue a full refund and show good faith by sending me the knife for free... I dont even know if that would dissipate the anger I have for survive knives. I'm that pissed off at them. I can't stand it when somebody lies to me. They have lied multiple times on the phone and email. This Thread is very toxic. Any and all supporters of survive knives you people don't need to post here at all. Pretend that you don't even exist go chit chat with other people in other threads than this one.
 
What's really pissing me off is you. Youre their biggest fan boy and it completely aggravates me to the maximum level that you're trying to back this company up. There's nothing to back up or support. This company is a failure

First alchemy, Silver is a fan, but I promise you he is not even in the same league as others. He is definitely not their biggest "fan boy" in perspective, I assure you. The only thing that is preventing you from getting utterly HAMMERED with a wave of personal attacks from the TRUE SK surrogates, is the BF mod's recent warnings. Trust me, there are some bleeding tongues right now.

Why dont you just cancel your order and move on? Instead you come here and insult the company behond any ordinary level.
Plus you're aggressive towards those who support the company despite the concerns. Its unhealthy how worked up you are getting over a wait time for a knife YOU CAN CANCEL the order for.

Everyone wants these fantastic knives with perfect fit and finish, unmatched craftsmanship but without some issues around wait times? Quality takes time....sure maybe it is taking to long, but does that require the aggression you're showing? Doesn't seem reasonable to me.

Its a knife... get over. Either cancel your order and move on or wait patiently. But abusing people is pointless and sure wont fix things for you.

When you flat out lie to customers, you deserve to be disrespected on a public forum. they have lied to me and many other customers. When you call them and they say hey we have sped up the process these knives will be shipping in a couple of months don't worry you will love your knife. 15 months later you still ain't got the knife. you called back and they say it should be headed out anytime soon and then they email you back a month later and say we've got behind schedule it looks like it's going to be between 8 to 10 months before the knife ships. All they were doing is buying time and in the process they were deceiving their customers. Screw them and screw anybody that supports them.

I have a simple question for you - Are you wanting a moderator to close this thread???

I want the moderators here to completely delete the whole entire survive knives thread. All of it. wash the memory of this garbage company off of this website
 
It is a little hard to believe that it has only been about a month since this thread was started.
I'm kind of impressed that folks have had 28 pages worth of stuff to talk about since then. :)
Darned fine knives at a very reasonable price but you have to be willing to wait, sometimes for quite a while longer than you expected.
How hard was that to figure out? :cool:

I think all survive knives owners here on this group should mail all of their survive knives to a moderator and then have those knives sent to Crucible to be melted down and then sent to Peter Kohler at dark Timber knives to make a super giant big sword out of all that melted Steel and then take that sword get in a boat and go about 9000 miles out into the ocean and dump it. that's should send the message loud and clear that survive knives sucks and we don't want to do business with that sorry company.

I understand your frustration...i think we all do.... but you waited 15 months before you considered cancelling? You could have cancelled ages ago instead of letting your anger build up.

Plus having a dig at their supporters.... really? For no other reason than they don't share your obnoxious amount of anger towards this company. Well....you're just lucky people are biting their tongues and not sinking to your level.


Ps you should do some research before making a purchase...it goes a long way.
I pre-ordered a 6 on my birthday this year as a birthday present for myself in 2017. I knew it would take over a year to arrive. I don't buy anything of value without researching all about it first.

I hope you manage to settle your irrational anger and keep your personal attacks on users to yourself. In that case your opinions may/will be valued, as of now, they are about as useless and unwanted as the fly roaming around my room.

Rants dont use commas buddy. You going to participate in this knife melt down? I got three that I'll send. If the moderators won't take these knives to be melted down I'll take the knives to the firing range and dump some 338 Lupa and 5.56 millimeter smash the hell out of those blades

Kia, just curious.. has BF ever had this much negative feedback from a BF hosted manufacture before? Or is this uncharted territory?

I don't really keep up with the manufacturer forums much, but I don't think it's uncharted territory. Just more condensed if that makes sense.

As a general note, I mostly try to stay out of this kinda thing as it'll rightfully be seen as biased and I don't wanna be mistaken as speaking on anyone's behalf. Couple things above just ticked my response switch I guess.

I've learned a lot tonight about punctuation in rants, and apparently moderators on a knife forum are somehow responsible for disposal of knives. :roll eyes:

Funny that you mention Peter Kohler. I have emailed him twice and called about getting a knife made with zero response. So I would almost guarantee you get your knife from S! before Peter could even answer your call.
