Alchemy, If you actually expect to be accepted among your peers and have a discussion you should try making your points like a rational adult vs sounding like some angry 13 y/o keyboard ninja. Take a break before a Mod comes along and decides to hand you one instead.

He hasnt been taking orders from new customers for well over a year. And it looks like he won't be taking new orders for a very long time. He's probably booked out five years. Then again he's a Custom Knife maker. Unlike survive knives that's a production company that outsources almost all of their work

100% agree. Wild-ass unsubstantiated speculation and fantasy does not belong in this thread.

Also, this is not a thread where people get a fee pass to abuse or be rude to Silver or any of the other members that continue to support S!K. While I disagree (in varying levels) with the S!K "fans," we are more similar than different. The S!K fans are passionate about knives and about supporting a company in which they believe. I have been there and done that, and am still passionate about supporting a few other makers. No one should fault the S!K fans for being passionate. In fact, I applaud it. Most of them are REALLY GREAT guys, and I would be happy to meet them in person and buy them beers. Silver Needle in particular is 100% a class act. SN has been incredibly welcoming and gracious to anyone that has visited this forum for years. You don't have to agree with him, but you do owe him a certain level of respect.

VERY well put.
The good nature and welcoming attitude of this place is actually what drew me to Survive!, long before I ever held one of their killer knives.
Regardless of our opinions,, I think most of us only hope for the best for Guy and Ellie.
Lets hope that they get caught up, ship out blades and get back on track :thumbup:
