it looks like micarta.
Yep I somehow missed that pic a few pages back.
it looks like micarta.
It will all depends on the price for me. If the lite Machete comes in way over the price of the Condor Machete then I'll have to go with the Condor because I really don't need a Machete but would like to have one. Same with the Junglas price will dictate if I buy or not. I can't just jump on the band wagon to get them just because their new. With that said they both look to be EXCELLENT pieces.
Just saw this in another thread the Lite Machete is 40-50 $ approx. not too bad and the arrow heads $12 no price on the Junglas yet.
Don't know just what Mike posted. $12 for an arrow head I might get one too be cool but not sure what I would use it for. I have a sling shot that shoots regular arrows (two piece arrows also) with any tip needed.
Oh my GOOOOOD. these are the sort of things that make rent drop on the priority list. Any specs on that collaboration?
Whats the handle material on the Lite Macehete?
Man, we really should have all the Junglas info in the Junglas thread and the Lite Machete info in a Lite Machete thread.
Seems kinda silly to ask with all the kick butt stuff posted here BUT.....
Does RAT offer that arm patch for sale??? I could really use that bad boy on my camera bag!!
which patch? there have been a few posted in here.
Twelve dollars an arrowhead? Fine with me, but will there be multi-packs available for ambitious types or those who want a size range?
And the machete is THAT low in price? I have no need, but...Hm...What the heck, why not.

Sure is sexier than the $6 Tramontinas I've been eyeballing.
You could buy a few of those Tramontinas, which are great btw, but you wont have a mircata handle. Im very surprised RC didnt reground the Lite Machete. A popular fix is a short scandi section on the first 6 inches of the blade (to use as a knife) and a convex edge on the rest of the blade, and then square the spine (to use on a fire steel) but leave the last 5 inches rounded on the spine to hold as a draw knife.
