Quick question about the Lite Machete. Did it have a good edge on it or is it almost unusable like most machetes out the box. I assume RAT wouldnt produce something with an unusable edge so i guess i just answered my own question haha.

WOW that all looks amazing. Thanks so much for the pictures and it looks like you're having an amazing time. I can't wait to hear more specs/pricing/shipping and all that!

Cheers

EDIT: Is RAT officially moving towards their new ESEE logo? It seems that all the new products have that rather than the old triangle. Also, it appears the Junglas has some engraving on the handle screws. What does it say?

The Latin machete has the stock edge from Imacasa but it's a really decent, convex edge. Better than any of the Trams or Ontarios I've had. Good stuff.

EESE stickers too! aw man this is torture indeed! sorry by the way mrs s. didnt mean to make you mad.

You didn't make her mad Bro, she's just joking. And thanks with your help with the RP numbers, you da man.

no problem bro. like i said you do enough. i feel obliged to help when i can.

Is there any specific reason why they did not go with the full flat grind on the junglas?

I know what i'll be dreaming about tonight, the ESEE logo!

Just for a more robust edge, it is a chopper. It's not super thick stock so the edge geometery is pretty good as it is.

I am more in awe every minute of that Junglas Machete. I can't wait to get my hands on one of them bad boys.

both the junglas, and the machete felt great in hand! fit n finish are top notch and i would'nt heasitate to go out with either of em right outta tha box! the edge on the machete was really done well imho! i handled em both today, along with just about every rat on the table lol! everything there was top notch! -fed

Thanks for the pics! Looks like the Izula and upcoming RC-4 wont be the end of my RAT buying. So many knives, too little cash.

WOW! Thanks Shotgunners for the update and pictures!!! We don't have word on price for the Junglas yet do we?

Oh my GOOOOOD. these are the sort of things that make rent drop on the priority list. Any specs on that collaboration?
