Copperheads/Copperlocks: show time!

The image is not showing Jack; you have to host it on an Image hosting service website. If you're not setup for this, don't hesitate to send me the picture and I'll host it from my account for you

I hope it works this time, I tried to post it off a flickr account.

Yeah, it works! And it's a beauty! I have a large CV stockman in this amber bone and I like it quite a lot. Thanks for sharing :)

(I'm using Photobucket but flickr works just as well)

Original Bob Cargill Cripple Creek Copperheads. That Turkish Clip is a killer !!

I just have these two, but I really like the copperhead pattern. I need to pick up some more.

Case 9 dot (1971 -my birth year) in that b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l Redbone and CV. Not mint -has a crack in the butt end of the shield side scale -but "new." I'm thinking that I'm going ooze a bit of super glue in that little crack to stabilize the scale, sharpen her up and drop her in my pocket!

Apologies for my poor iPhone pics. This bone is gorgeous!

It's hard to fully explain, but somehow the older Case brown and red bone knives just look better than the newer ones. Something about the depth of the color, the translucense, or whatever it is, the newer ones look good, but just can't seem to capture the beauty of the bone dye that they used "back then".

Guess I need to drop this photo of the Queen economy model Copperhead I recently purchased.

It pretty much looks like the clip on my gold pearl one, just not the D2 steel. I find myself liking it quite a bit and it is economical too. I think I want another one, but my recent expenditure for the sodbuster is going to postpone any purchases for at least a couple months. Unless I sell something... but that ain't going to happen.

ED, the more I see it the more I like it
and that queen city is cheap too!

love the CH pattern, had a Parker IXL and gave it away, would have kept it
not the best, 400C Japan and laminated wood, thick and just acceptable F&F BUT it was a NICE pattern!

Picked up this one today. I have always preferred single bladers but have been appreciating multi bladers more lately. Really like the curves on the copperhead.

I have a pretty good Mini copperlock collection started. My favorite is the mammoth ivory. And, Abalone, MOP (gold lip pearl) and any of the apaloosa ones are all close seconds.

Put up some pictures, tleav61, so we can gawk properly.

I really like that Case mini-copperhead pattern. The way the handle is shaped, you wouldn't know it had the secondary blade on the other end if you didn't look at it to see. A great design.

Will do, stand by. Ill be posting the whole collection. We newbies are still trying to figure this stuff out.

Thanks for posting these pics. I have something to search for again.

PT, this info may help some in the search.
Top one has tang stamp EZ 49.
Box label info in pic below.
Neither tang nor box indicate
wharncliffe blade.

Second one is pocket worn natural 62109w issued in 2000.
This series was not advertised as pocket worn and all I've seen
were in regular green Case box NOT the blue PW box.
Label does have pw in front of module #
Item number is 00283

Here a few more copperheads since I have the album open anyway.

I have one other 62109w in shadowbone.
Handles quite different almost like having two knives in one.
Or maybe it's a magician's shadowbone?
