So sorry to hear about Charlie Boy. I have no words of comfort, other than to say you did the right thing for your best buddy, and he appreciated that. No more pain and suffering, just wonderful memories that will be with you forever.

So so sorry about your loss; that of Charlie boy’s passing. There are no elegant or eloquent words to describe this level of pain, the decision which you had to make to comfort you at this time as it takes nothing but the passage of darn time. You will never forget but will start remembering more fondly the times with your boy after taking however long needed to grieve. My sincere condolences, Mat.

Lost him today. Surgery was pushed back, cancer spread to his lungs. I don’t know what was worse .. seeing him in pain, or saying goodbye. The next right thing had to be done. Best friend I’ve ever had. RIP Charlie Boy.

Love the shit out of your pets. Treat them well. They do more for us than most will ever realize.

Both my dogs got sprayed by Pepé Le Pew at 4 am this morning. First time. So it’s been a crazy morning. One get hit right in the face. So much easier to get the smell off people than it is dogs. May have to send the skunk to a early retirement if he doesn’t leave the property.

Had that happen twice. The 2nd time was very quick and Pepe died. Still stinky though ….

We were in PA on a visit and Savannah got sprayed the day before we were driving home. Washed her at least 6 or 7 times, then drove home 14 hours. Not the best trip we’ve had!
