To my eye that fuller is quite large and not balanced aesthetically. Maybe a double fuller or longer thinner would look better if it's necessary for weight balance.

Sounds to me like someone doesn't want to eat oysters out of their khukuri.

The gigantic fuller is a nice ,,extra,, feature. Imagine doing some yard work, eliminating brushes, and then you can use the fuller to serve some snacks afterwards.

my great good friend, Russ, (who helped me with vectoring the CPK logo, among other things) has been concentrating on making things from wood in his little home shop. He's done a lot of cutting boards, shelving units etc and he sent me a really nice care package today with this sweet cutting board.

wrt the handle, there is still a lot of material to remove but it's totally getting there and I think it's going to work

If you told me a few years ago, that i would be more excited about a handle than a blade itself, I would tell you that its dumb.
But, as you get older, you realized, that the handle is waaaay more important....because you are holding it in your hand.

Its looking awesome......sadly it will be outside my price range.....unless......

I used to worry about what "Super Steel" is being used. Now its, "how will it feel when i use it?"
