That is awesome! If you would not mind posting more pictures when you get it I would be very grateful.
I'm about to order a couple new "real" knives for myself. I'm new here and new to the knife collecting world, so please be patient.......
While looking through the vast amount of great quality knives from many manufacturers, I keep coming back to this Mini-Griptilian with the M4 blade steel. I'm all set to buy this along with a 943 Osborne, but have one question about the coating on the blade. How does the coating hold up? I am concerned after some use the blade coating will start to wear which would take away from the looks and resale value. Can anyone tell me (or show me) how the black coating stands up to everyday use?
Thanks
I recommend the Ritter mini-Grip with S30V steel, stonewashed. GPKnives sells them. The scales are by Alan Putnam and really excellent.
thanks for the update photos. that's a keen edge you have there.
for some reason I feel the m4 on this knife is easier to sharpen than my 440C and S35vn blades. I have average skills with freehand sharpening, yet the m4 makes me feel like i have expert skills. =) I only have one knife in m4 so I'm curious what you guys think.
One of my omega springs broke last week on my m4 556. I have to send it in for repair, it looks like yours broke a spring too. I have cuscadi scales on mine I wonder if benchmade will repair the knife with aftermarket scales on it? I really like my mini grip it's a great edc.
