I need a Bird and Trout :D

You could base it on the Culti but with a slightly longer, thinner and not as tall blade.

edit: Or you can just make me one like Hammy's :D.

:rolleyes:What about that BA-based blade you were talking about a few years ago?? I tried to remember it, a bit, and posted it earlier with your name on it.

If you can recall that, you might want to re-visit it ... and correct my up-Thread mistakes.

I want a Busse Scalpel. Thin, old school SH Mean Street. Small, sharp for delicate work, and good ergonomics for those of us with smaller hands!

Yeah. Scalpel. Says it all!! :D

It was basically a smaller ABA-III.

I have asked about a knife like that ever since I set my cyber foot in the Busse forum four years ago; I have called it a Big-Game Warden, a Mini BA-III, a fully active duty etc etc.... doesn't make any difference I can't fool Jerry into making a new knife I'd actually use. :p

So I'll just keep flying out to see Skunk and buy his old ones

I stand by my original idea:

A Busse Balisong with:

4" sabre-ground cultie-like blade (maybe with a nice Bowie clip)
.17" thickness
channel handles made of Titanium (if they can balance out with the INFI)
phosphor bronze bushings
rope-cut micarta slabs, i.e. Green linen, black paper, tigerhide...

My suggestion is to incorporate some nice carbon fiber into the handle design.

Someone may have already posted....

A SKINNY ZILLA.

The same as the KILLA Z, but on a diet!!!:D

NMFSH. With a dehorned tail for carry comfort, like an SFNO or River8 bottom. Keep the handle at the third and fourth fingers thick for positive grip and reduced hand fatigue. 1/4" thick w/ sabre grind and asym edge. MMMMMMMMM... Bacon.

Where's Ducci? I'm counting on him for a folder-related design ...

A FOLDER with a 4" INFI drop point blade, one piece Titanium handle/body, Busse patent lock or frame lock. It would be the most outrageous Busse knife ever and "Most Wanted"!!!!

:D

Well O.K., if I can't have a Folder, how about a 6" fillet knife with a ASH1 style handle, nice and flexable. Tequila Sunrise or Tigerhide handles, so it would be visible. The old straight handle style offers great grip retention and finger protection! It could be used in the kitchen or the field, a real universal knife!

Need a cross between a machete and a golok with the Killer Z handle. A 14"-16" blade with a width of about 1.75"; a bit thicker up front, say 2"-2.5", to make it positively nose heavy. Not more than .25 thick to keep it away of the anvil division. Heck, it can be named the Busse Macholok! Ok, maybe not. Still, the knife would surely tackle all conceivable chopping and clearing chores.

I emailed Amy something similar earlier (Today, 06:59 PM). :D:thumbup:

I would go for a version something like Bark River has. 2 1/2 feet long - with tiger hide :) .20 thickness would work just fine.

It would be inline with the "camp knife that chops" tradition of Busse - with a pink micarta handle specally made for our more fair members :)
