Oh, an ultimate winner would be the old three solild bolt Bagdger attack same design sizing except newer materials like G10 and INFI, I've always like the Microtech Currahee size knife with the thickness and broad blade, Obviously a remake of the Old Steel Heart II with solid bolts would be incredible to see. People are always asking the question about "combat knives" I would like to see something along the lines of 6" 1/4 thck, with a hilt guard built into the design sloping out from the main part of the handle, with a larger sloped out rear, with a blade design along the old German WWII trench knife blades but much larger.
Ah, more thoughts to come.

.

How about a long semi-narrow blade like the AH or Ruck with a ASH1 handle, kind of like a trench knife. Plus a 3/8" groove down each side that washed out into the tip. It would also have a flat tapered/angled spade butt on it for prying.

:D

How about a FNMMOASJTAC?

Flying Nuclear Meltdown Mother Of All Satin Jack Tacs.

Satin Finish. 7.25" blade. 1/4" thick.

Hand-shaped wood handles.

Mmmm... mmm.....
I want that. A lot.

Look at all those letters! You gotta love it!

Something I think would be cool is a Kabar type fighter. One piece of infi with the handle ground into a oval stick so a stacked canvas micarta handle could be added like the leather disks were on the old Military issue kabars.

Ok, I've told Garth this one before (I'm still waiting Garth ;) )

I think a 6-7" fighter narrow blade, straight spine, nothing fancy with the blade. However, the handle will be super-cool. Skeleton handles to reduce weight, with INFI overlayed handle slabs (patterned with grooves similar to the Rodent Waki) Attached with solid pins. Yes, you heard it here boys, INFI handle Slabs..... think it over....super cool....

This would be the first Busse knife that would be entirely made of INFI (minus the pins) Blade, and Handle Slabs would all be INFI.

Of course to truly show this off it would need to be satin and DC, satin blade, DC slabs to show the contrast.

:D:D

Tanker A/Euro4 , Sabre cut, NO Choil, NO Swedge, straight handle and spine, add a little meat to the belly and contour the belly like the SHBA. Index finger close to blade as possible. Keep it about .200 max.

OOOhhh, I've thought about this!

A Battle Mistress Ergo.....with a 20" long 3/16ths blade!!

The ultimate machete/chopping/jungle/bush/brush blade.

What I would really like is blade shaped like the Uncle Mofo except wider(spine to edge) with a fusion handle or maybe a handle like on the Bushwacker.

Just stop and picture this knife, how freakin awesome would that be????:thumbup::cool:

old school SHSJ with a 3B2 blade -NO CHOIL - add 1/4" to handle (top to bottom) to fill the hand better - keep the back of the handle as it is or shape it like the SHBA, which is the most secure and the most comfortable handle ever on a Busse. Add some spine jimping to strike a firesteel.

How about a scimitar looking chopper blade. Thin but relatively long in the 18 to 20 in overall range with straight handles. The blade would almost look like a pork belly skinner but gigantis!

How about something like...

the Urgent Fury??

9 3/4" D2 blade, 3/16" thick, & 15 1/2" OAL

Keep the handle design, add some tiger micarta, diagonal rope cuts and we have a winner!!:D:thumbup:

Sent this idea into one of the lucky teams. I mean I am sure the design plans for it are somewhere - classic lines - but different from the current Fusion influence. :)

Now Grind!!

So this is what happens when Jerry is on a road trip??

Teams take over??!!... The Mob Rules!!??

Viva leRevolution!!!:D:thumbup::D

I have always dreamt of a shrunken Fusion Steel Heart.

Picture the standard Fusion handle left as is (size wise)...suck the blade in as far as possible to still give the right visual and balance proportion (Outlaw length +/-)...I think the FSH is visually pleasing but I can still see it being shorter without the handle over weighing the visual balance. Bring the ricasso in toward the scales to adjust the profile, shorten the blade in height if necessary, adjust the guard height, etc. to fit...melt the pommel, melt the spine, take all the qualities of a FSH, SFNO, TB, and roll them into one, pour some Guiness on it and holy crap...that's one hairy chested MOFO!

Basically, make a Fusion handled Natural Outlaw with the same feel and neutral balance and feel of the original Ergo model. Adjust the pommel, ricasso, etc. to make it all function well. Give it a little Heavy Heart chubbiness and sabre flare and offer it up in Henry Ford paint (with Mags). Game Over - beware the Stump Lifter!!!:eek::eek:

I desperately need a SHSJ that doesn't cost $700+. Perhaps make it flat ground or convex just to spice it up a bit :)
