Cruwear Military Questions...

I wouldn't do business with a shop like that. I mean, there is dealer direct price, then there is wholesale, retail, and full MSRP. So to make a few bucks more on one knife the guy decided to kill any potential business you'd be willing to do with him? Nice job!

Yeah, anyone with half a brain would say, " I paid $140, the guy will give me $180 which is more than online. Maybe I should do the deal and win a new customer".

I doubt this guy really paid $140 for it anyway.

Most B&M stores sell at or near MSRP, at least around here. I understand that they have higher costs and lower volume, but honestly, it's really hard to compete when you price things like that. What happens is that they sink cash into inventory costs and never move the inventory so they never make the profit they thought they were going to make. It's better to sell for less and keep inventory moving out and customers coming in.

This is the first sprint I have gone after. It was difficult to get one in stock, but it is possible. Plus, I don't think this one is done yet, KW said they were still getting more. I would say more will become available within the coming weeks!

He's right, when I joined BF I wanted a CF/S90v military, couldn't get one. Only one I have is the M390/CF and it is one of my favorite knives, the hunt is part of the fun. The Millie is worth it to me. I need to try a S30v model.

Got one as well

W&W has them for Pre-purchase..
They got 22n in stock..
Ordered mine just waiting for 23rd of October for it to ship..
Heads up for the people who missed out..

Got mine today!!!! Thanks K1WI. These are bad a$$. Love the grey handle. Came shaving sharp. Push cuts phone book paper. I put it on the brown Sharpmaker stone. IDK if it's the steel, or the factory scratch pattern, but this Cruwear has a much different "feel" than other steels do. I don't know how to describe it, but it feels "bitey" on my brown Sharpmaker rods. Hmmmmm.

I agree, the edge feels very hard and fine grained, almost slick against the hones. It reminds me of CPM-D2.

Yeah, nobody really sells at MRSP, granted after the sprint run sells out he might be able to get $249 if the right collecter wants it that bad but I doubt it.

The guys should be happy you came to his store to buy a knife instead of buying online. Granted, I don't expect the brick and mortar guys to sell as low as the ones that are mostly online retailers but he should discount it some.

So i just drove five minutes down the street to my local knife shop and picked one up for $150. I love that little store. Bragbrag, thank you Classic Edge in Midlothian, VA. Feels like i won the lotto after reading this thread.
