Me too. Classicist, scientist, woodsman, marksman, wrestler, fencer, musician; he could break your wineglass with his voice like Enrico Caruso, and he could drop flying crows with his .22 until you got tired of seeing it or he ran out of crows. And, like Jonathan Richman's Pablo Picasso, "he could walk down any street and girls could not resist his stare".
But here's a knife: my watch-pocket carry, since I don't have a nice pen with a lanyard bail, and the little ones are hard for me to fish out without, and I do like this one:

I sent it in because the first ¼" of the blade (right at the tip) was hitting the back spring every time I closed the knife. It was unacceptable because of all the parts of that small blade i use, the tip gets the most. besides the fact that there isn't much blade there to begin with! lol. They replaced the knife with a new one, and someone must have been pretty particular with it, because this one is FLAWLESS. The color os good, no spaces, blades are pretty close to centered, and not a bit of it hitting the back spring, even with a forceful close. The jigging is even smoothed a bit, which is something I actually love. Nice crags with smooth tops. Love it. I'll post a pic as soon as I have some decent light here!
I am glad you are happy with the new Peanut. It's always nice to see pictures. If your new nut is as pretty as your last one, then you scored !!!!
Thanks. I couldn't resist it.Great tune! And nice knife!

You guys are the worst enablers.
Thanks, hamsco! I haven't heard of that before either; time for a little research, I guess.Rapid River Knifeworks 2008.... I have not seen another one. I'm guessing that it was a SFO. Maybe from Queen.
It's a beauty.
after two and a half years of carrying the same knife almost exclusively, a case 6383. This week after visiting my parents and seeing my old man's peanut(that I gifted him 4or 5 years ago) riding everyday in his watch pocket ready for action. I decided to put my own peanut, a nice case xx USA 1977 delrin handle, in my pocket for a ride.
Hahaha poor me, not remembering the peanut's revengeful character, I was cleaning it and all of a sudden chack!!! THE BITE.
I you have had your peanut for long enough you know what I'm talking about... Confidently caressing it and when you close it your ring finger is where it shouldn't be and the tip of the clip blade bites the side of your finger.
Ooh! Mighty peanut I publicly apologise for keeping you so long in a box and solemnly promise getting you for a ride more often.

I believe that Rapid River Knife Works was in Michigan near the Escanaba area. I wasn't aware that they made folders. I believe that they started out with fixed blade hunters and bird and trout style knives of which I owned a few but have long since sold. Hope this helps.
