Cult of the peanut , members

On a whim this morning I traded out my yella cv for my chestnut bone cv, and it looks like the yella fella may be on vacation for awhile as the jigging on the chestnut made for an excellent worry stone today at work!

Hey guys I'm a member of the cult again.
Last week I made a great score out of the bay, I think because it was listed as 6220 instead of peanut I was the highest bidder of only two.
Well, Case xx usa 1977 peanut jigged Delrin scales in near mint condition (a little green dirt on the brass) I think the blades are factory sharpened.
I'm really happy!!!! Since I lost my chestnut bone cv peanut 6 or 7 months ago I've been wanting to pick another one but I think this one was waiting for me.

Hey nut lovers,if you will have me,I would like to be considered for membership in the cult of the peanut also.
I scored the Ruger Peanut (love Ruger's guns)not long ago & it's been down hill ever since.:rolleyes:
It wasn't long after getting the Ruger that I went looking for more & scored the orange bone with bail,then the 120T,then the Craftsman,then the Remington,then the Damascus,(mmm damascus),then the green bone.
I have a few others on the way & promise to post pics when they arrive.
I'm also on the lookout for a Chestnut CV & one of them yeller ones too,but all these others keep popping up before I can pull the trigger.(me thinks I have a problem :confused: ;))
I prefer a small knife in my pocket & found the peanut fits the bill for pert near all my everyday cutting tasks.
And there's the fact that they just plain look good too.Love the curves & the variety of cover materials.
I carried a Vic Champ on my belt for about ten years as a mechanic in the Marines,then when I got out,I switched to a Classic & then a Rambler in pocket,but after getting the Ruger nut I fell in love with the simple sweet curves & snap of the blades.

So what d'ya say,can I stay? :)

Just snagged a NOS single blade Camillus Yello-Jaket and I'm loving it. Talk about disappearing in the pocket! A couple of swipes on the Sharpmaker and she's shaving sharp.

Love the collection Mykel, I really need me a Peanut with a bail!

A couple of new nuts came in recently.
I love the almost Wharnie shape that the pen has worn into on this old Robeson.
Bone covers too.:thumbup:

After over a week I think it's finally time to say that my little guy is lost:frown:. It slipped out of my pocket I thought either on the couch or in my truck but have had no luck in my search. While I don't have anything of that size I do have knives to take its place as a cutting implement so they will have to do for now. We had a good two year relationship and it is time to move on for now. It will be getting replaced, eventually, but until then here's the last picture of it

Go out and buy yourself another yella nut. After you receive it, your old one will definitely turn up. :)
 
I'm in. I really like my new Peanut. I've found that some of these knives you just have to try yourself
