Case's website doesn't even list any peanuts with scissors currently, but I think they're still updating the site.

Anybody have the AG Russell Mammoth Pinched Peanut? Pictures and video look great, but I'm wondering if it would be too fancy to see any pocket duty. Not crazy about the lack of half stops. It seems like a sharp VG-10 knife with no half stops might be a safety issue!

Here's mine. I've had it awhile now and although it doesn't travel with me everyday it's seen some carry and use. A great pair of thin, sharp blades and superior fit and finish. The lack of half stops is not an issue in my estimation. The pull on the little blades is a 5, maybe a little less.
A great little knife for opening packages or the mail, peeling an apple, opening a blister pack, digging out a splinter etc. Does all that you'd expect from a little knife. Plus it's a looker.
I'd buy another in a New York minute (Or as Johnny Carson once said, it's the interval between a Manhattan traffic light turning green and the guy behind you honking ....)

What a legume! And a flawless photo catching every angle of a peanut prince.

Well the photos put me over the top. Wooly mammoth peanut on the way!

I think you will like it! I got one around 2.5 months ago and it hasn't left my pocket (except to use) since. Actually, today is the first day I added a second knife in the other pocket (because the Mnandi was getting jealous)...

I am considering ordering a second one to put away for my boy when he gets a bit older.

Eagerly awaiting mine now. The regular Yellow CV peanut I've been carrying these days didn't feel fancy enough after ordering that AG Mammoth. Had to pull out a Little Bay for the day. I know its supposed to be a small knife, but its so much bigger and heavier than a peanut!

So short story,

I called up case to replace a peanut I got with a bent tip. After back and forth with this lady she says if I send in the knife they'll replace it for 30 bucks. I said why do I have to send you a knife to keep that i paid for just to pay for another one that you'll send me. She said it's because from the pictures i sent in i must have used it as a pry bar. I said no case quality has just gone way down hill and a few other words I wont repeat here.
