Cult of the peanut , members

Converting everywhere I go, I think I have some more converts. I gave my little brother my Case swayback jack, Beaver Tail 48 and one hand Ritter Grip for his birthday. I teased his girlfriend that she needed a knife, and she said she didn't want anything that big. I pulled my peanut out of my pocket, and the first thing she thought it was was a Vic classic (Oh Danny, that's the one with the tweezers!). When she saw the peanut she instantly liked it.

I am always amazed at the non knife nuts that are swayed by the power of the Peanut. Now I have a gift idea for Christmas.

I'm glad she handed my damascus peanut back to me!

I am happy to join up too. After reading the thread, I added a peanut to the collection. It hasn't left my pocket yet, and seriously lives up to the hype!

Just curious as to why. For the Peanut (Case's anyway), that seems like a solution in search of a problem.

I wouldn't put a little EO notch on the clip side but on the pen blade side it would help me alot and have me using it more. That pen blade is tough to open, at least for me it is.

Find an older peanut. While not an EO notch, there a small notch in the liner and a partial notch in the scale for the pen blade of older Case Peanuts to allow ready access to the nail nick.

1965-1969 Case Peanut --- note the liner.

Yep. :)
I also extended the nail nick into a long pull. Can't really pinch it open, because there's a clip blade in the way, but it's a lot easier to open, now.

Brothers and sisters, they are discussing the 2015 forum knife, and the peanut seems to be in the running. Right now it's just a pipe dream, however, a GEC made peanut has been high on my wishlist for some time.

Really would be all over that! How does he go about getting signed up for the forum knife and how soon can it be done?
