Rob , that Peanut is a beauty. I have long wanted a Damascus nut and am coveting the heck out of yours right now.

Color duderubble jealous. Lovely knife. I've been carrying my case cv yellow constantly. Love that knife but I'm wanting some other color choices. This is a mini-sickness within a sickness.
Nuttin wrong with yeller! That Damascus is a purty one though- k.d. here is somewhat jealous too.
Color? How about "red" and yeller?

The red bone is aging quite nicely with the heat of summer. I've been carrying both along with a much larger Old Timer 89OT for heavy grunt work.
The Golden Ticket...

Thanks for the kind words, folks. I'd been wanting one of the damascus for a long time, and was glad to finally get one.
I had been carrying a chestnut bone nut in CV, and I would be lying if I said I didn't miss it. I love the damascus, but there's something about a CV blade... May need to throw it in the pocket sometime soon. I've been thinking about picking up a yellow in cv as well.
Agreed on the Yellow Delrin CV Peanut. arizonaranchman turned me on to that knife right here in this 'Ol thread a while back. (Thanks again brother!!!)
And zombizon - good lord almighty - astonishingly beautiful knife. The covers, that RainDrop! - Holy Cow you hit the Lottery!

I took my Yellow CV 'Nut on vacation this summer (road trip) and it was so damn handy. At one stop I asked our friends in Atlanta for the sharpest knife in the house while I was preparing dinner. I got a laughable flimsy serrated "ginsu" handed to me. I proudly pulled out my little knife and proclaimed it the sharpest knife in the house! They couldn't believe how easily I sliced up the veggies with such a tiny knife.
Part of our vacation was on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and while I did bring the knife to the beach, I was thinking I need a Stainless peanut too. For the beach, you know? (wife agreed!)
So, the SS 'Nut purchase started out, of course, with lots of research. And I stumbled upon the Trapper'Nut. I never heard of the damn thing!!! Well, I had to have it. Are they allowed in the Peanut thread???
