Eric, Why did it take so long to get the elk. I thought you stepped out the back door, shoot your elk and then go finish getting dressed and find your knives.

I sure wish I knew when I made that knife, Joe!! Had to be about 10 years ago.
I am so proud that you have it and that it got to "dance" along side one of Don's.

I had a chance to round up about 250 calves and help brand/band/tag/inject/and cut them (a lot were too big for the bander).


I had several production traditional slipjoints, and an Opinel, but I had to use my J. Oeser too, just because.

That is one heck of a good looking folder!!

I support my knife making buddies by owning some of their work. I often carry a Ray Kirk hunter in my bibs and have used it many times. This picture was taken a couple weeks ago and I was just about to lighten this little buck for a drag.

I also have a Tim Britton, Karl Andersen, and a rare Chuck Ward among others.
