Custom SAK modder - HAIII Alox and Ti conversions - Pic Heavy examples

I had some scales cerakoted safety orange and this is the first one I made up using them. I quite like the look, it pairs nice with the black liners. :D

Love the orange, but would rather have it anodized, any possibility of doing orange ano. in the future?

The guy I use that does the hard anodizing for me can't do orange, which is why I tried this cerakote. I think I will search around though and see if I can find someone who can run orange for me.

Don't get me wrong,I love the look of the orange cerakote,I just worry about wear resistance vs the HAIII ano.
I doubt an ano orange would be as vibrant either.
The black liners are a great touch BTW.

My edc firearm has a cerakote slide. It doesn't look so hot after regular use. Anodized I imagine we'll hold up much better.

Really nice work. I'm going to have to think up what all I want in a knife. :D

It wouldn't be a problem, but I really need a mill to make the slot nicely. I tried by hand with a drill and file and was never happy with the result. I've got a millling machine on my shop tool list for the new year though, so expect to see an alox scale with a T&T slots eventually.

Cheers

I'm going to have to order one afterwards. Those tweezers don't look like much, but dang if they don't work good. Please keep us posted.

I had Syph make this for me in February:

Not only is he talented, but he is very easy to work with. He reponded to questions quickly and kept me updated on his progress. I highly recommend his services.

I havent done many new models in awhile, mostly alot of the same. But here is a fully Ti converted Minichamp. Something fancy for the keyring. :D All pivot points are carbidized for super smooth action.

And some cell phone quality video!

I was mostly trying to show off how nice the snap is. Trying it without the carbidizing is really not so good.

Do you have any "lime green" scales? My niece is asking for a "lime green" knife and she like simple so if you do I might ask you to put together a pioneer pruner variant for me.

Hi. No the only green I have I would call forest green. You'd have to look at other materials to find lime green. Im not even sure if there is cerakote in that color.

The Minichamp above is mine. It is the second mod he has worked for me and I recommend the results. His work is top shelf!

Here's the latest custom from me. I did a run of black oxide on all the stainless SAK parts and they turned out wicked nice.

Orange cerakote scales, HAIII black liners and black oxide tools. Beauty and stealth. :D
