Custom Slipjoints

I'm sad to say that I don't even own a single custom slippie:(. There I've said it, Ooohh the shame of it!! This thread is absolutely awesome though keep the pics coming. Since this is a sticky maybe one day I'll have a pic to post for you guys. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome lookin groups of knives shown here so far. Here's all I have so far....one I made and one Tony made.

Kerry, your work looks fabulous, I hope to own one of yours someday:thumbup: Of course that relatively unknown maker's knife looks great too:D

Joel Chamblin Whittler i've been meaning to get pics of for sometime:

My Ken Erickson repro R1303s in green micarta and jigged bone:

The fixed blades are by Jim Hardenbrook, who was taught by D’Holder before passing away in the early 1980s after a hunting accident in Colorado. My father bought four knives from Hardenbrook back then. The wood one is my first custom while the stag was my dad’s.

Top is a knife by Bailey Bradshaw, then a Reese Bose BP, jigged micarta BP by Jerry Halfrich, teardrop by Tony Bose, gent’s trapper by Reese Bose, swayback by Tony Bose and a desk knife by Tony.

I kind of figured that Robuck character had some real beauties. Man o man, does he ever!

All are awesome. Thanks guys!

I got to see a couple of Shaldag's knives before they went out to him. There are incredible (especially the one from Ron Newton).

One of these days I need to pick up a decent camera rather than a knife. :D.

Mike, what you lack in quantity is sure made up for in quality! Nice stash!

Mike those are exceptional, very impressive...A true quality collection..

Sunburst

ps Your avatar is killing me!!!

Thanks all. Looking at that picture of mine, I need to get some jigged bone customs.

Sunburst, I can change that avatar to a front on shot of me if you would rather.

Great lookin collectsheown Mike.:thumbup::thumbup:

BTW...you should donate that chair to science when yer done with it. Some new life forms might be discovered and certainly structural engineers could learn a thing or two.

Wow! That's quite a collection of customs, Gus. I really like that Bradshaw knife, the Davenport, the Rogers, the Boses etc. Heck, all of them are nice.

I think I'll go back to collecting chunks of driftwood so I can glue ceramic chipmunks on them.

Trouble is that is almost 1/2 of my customs.
That's why I drive an 11 y.o. Buick. :D.
