Great thread.I have these,a peanut at 2-5/8" closed,440V & Rem. bone,and a swayback,at 3-1/4" closed,ATS-34 & serious stag
I know, you've already seen them, but I could not resist adding them to the thread.

Darwin
Very nice. That one looks like it will really fit the pocket well.
Ken just continues to make some very nice knives. He truly builds a custom made to what the customer orders.

That's a really nice one Darwin! I like the micarta on it.

All the others are really nice too!

The shape, micarta and level of finish are all stunning! Thanks for sharing pics.

I think small knives present an even greater challenge for workmanship.

Could you say how long you had to wait for that sow (piglet?)belly? Well worth waiting for clearly!

Here's a little Ohta Swayback I've had for about a week. It's 2 13/16" closed and I hardly know it's in my pocket.

Thanks for all of the nice comments, guys. I've always been told and believed if you want to know how good a maker is, look at their small knives.

As for the wait time....It wasn't bad at all, well under a year, but I understand Ken's list is getting longer all the time, and I know why now:D

One of my smaller ones. Chris Crawford, O1 and stag. About 3 inches. (thanks Vince :D)
I also have to say how much I like Durwood's little sowbelly (I'm talking about the sowbelly knife although I'm sure Durwood's actually sowbelly is nice too;)).

Since we already have a sticky for Custom pics and these knives are stunning ... I am going to merge the threads.

And while I am at it add a couple more from my stash.
I carry this one from Todd on occasions:

The picture is from Nordic Knives
Was this from Plaza, rather than Nordic? I was admiring the same one on their site and was wondering who got it. They also had a 2 blade trapper from Ohta that was beautiful.

You are absolutely correct. The knife was from Plaza. That's what happens when I try to think before I drink enough coffee in the morning!

Not arguing with the logic, but I do all custom slipjoint picture threads need to go here from now on? I agree there have been some stunning knives added to the thread, and I appreciate it guys!

Darwin, I really like that scaled down Erickson sowbelly! Here are a few of my smaller custom folders. All 2 1/2-inch or less blades. Don's gent is 3-inches closed. First one is a Fraps.

I agree with looking at a makers small work. It says a lot. I picked up a couple of Alsdorf folders at the St. Louis show, but no pictures, yet. I am impressed with his work, and he has only been at it a couple of years.

One more. My latest acquisition. It is 3 1/8-inch closed. I am real happy with this slippie! Really like Joel's work.
