Yeah, he did nail it James. F&F are great. The VF is an old production knife though, and Ken's is a carefully produced, one of a kind, and cost about 100 times what the VF cost new, IMO! Hard to compare them.
 
John Howser makes a fine slippie, great stag and nice shield to go with it,
this was a gift from a forum friend. One of the best ones I have ever had, friend that is.

I've got the same pattern by J.B. Moore. Mine is 3 5/8" closed.

Here is a fantastic knife from Joe Allen.It is 4-1/16" closed,has a 3-1/4" blade measured from the tip to the bolster,and is 7-5/16" opened up.Amber stag bone scales.
