Gus, That black pearl is fabulous:thumbup: Easily one of the nicest ones I've seen yet from Mike! I guess I know what needs to go on my wish list now. Actually I've talked to Mike about Black Lip Pearl several times, I just have never said, "that's what I want next":D

I really enjoyed talking with Mike on this knife. Quite a gentleman, very honest and straightforward.

This one will go very nicely with the one I picked up from you Durwood. Also want to thank you for gently prodding Mike away from NS. ;).

You gotta love that little swedged spearpoint, too.
My Grail Alsdorf would be the single jack, with ss interframe/swedged spearpoint blade What inlays ? That's what I'm pondering. What a fit & finish though, huh Gus ?
Congrats,
-Vince

Got to love those Alsdorfs, that is a beaut. Congrats Gus, And to Mike,
I am glad to have some of his, the fit and finish is just EXCELLENT.
Jim

I could not resist, this one is now in route to MY home: Rusty Preston. Got to love his file work.

One more for the Alsdorf parade. It is nice to see Mike posting a few in the maker's for sale site. Moved fast on this one. Have never even considered Tiger Coral before, but I have a couple of Mike's knives from the St. Louis Show, so familiar with his work. Received this one today and it is pretty special. Love the scales. Nice size for carry, beefy blade for use, and Mike's fabulous fit and finish. The Tiger Coral really pops out at you, which doesn't show in Mike's image.

Really like your pearl drs. folder, Gus. Mike uses a lot of variety in his folders, and it all works well!

Another one? Or is it the one that the PO has taken 3 weeks to deliver?
Jim

Nope another one I had on order, the PO may have lost the other one. It left St Louis but it's whereabouts is currently unknown.

I can say Mike has been exceptional in this instance, and the missing package is certainly not his fault. As my late Dad would say, "a sterling gentleman". Reason enough to accumulate more Alsdorfs.

I am jealous, filled with sinful envy. But I do have this one coming.
It is not by Mike, but Tony Bose.

Either way,it is a perfect gentleman's slipjoint,to end the quest for such.
