Wow, that Alsdorf sure is a beautiful knife. Perfect size, beautiful blade shape, and stunning covers. Is the cover really coral like the name implies?
 
So this happened today! Truly amazing quality and finish. At 4 1/8" it might be the perfect size for me. I'm trying to work up the courage to actually carry it!

That's a good thing to just "happen" Ben! Looks great. I like the look of the rounded bolster with the drop point blade
 
That's certainly a monster...I always like the in hand shots so you can see just how big a knife can be. Really shows how sleek that clip blade is too.

A couple of new pick ups for me. Dozier Loveless DPH from 2009 and Davison #1346 in Amboyna Burl

As a similar pair to yours - a Stuart Ackerman d-p hunter in D2, and a Willie Paulsen finished in 400yr old figured olive (and matching pen)
