Custom Traditional Knives

Gorgeous knives, Kris! That Dunn is one of my favorites.

That picture is so pretty, I don't even feel a twang of discomfort at submerging that knife. Excellent picture.

Thank you Connor :)
Some people felt uneasy/in horror about a submerged knife on another platform but I find it a very calm photo.

*any custom in stainless worth it's salt should be able to handle some water. It's why I enjoy custom knives so much, I use my pocket knives alot in the kitchen and need something that can handle that with ease and just require a rinse, dry off and re oil

Yup, I figured it was a stainless, and water is nothing that a bit of oiling and time in front of a heat vent can't fix. I saved that picture because it is so calming.

Kris...you know how I feel about your Loveless DPH. I feel the same every time you post your Cattle Knife from Tom Ploppert.

My latest is this hunter in 1084/15N20 raindrop Damascus and bighorn ram's horn by Doug Campbell, JS.

Way too many to post them all here.

But here are a couple . . .

Very nice Ken, thanks for sharing. I remember that whittler from the 2013 CKCA Banquet, and a bargain it was. I would love to see more of your collection, if you feel so inclined.

Fantastic knives AND photos, guys!

Thank you very much Phil :)

Here's my first Bose, a barehead coffin jack by Reese in Remington Bone and ATS-34.
I've always been extremely curious about Tony and Reese's work due to their following and name within the community.
That curiosity has been completed satisfied after a day or two of inspecting and finding the intricacies and detail that lie within their work.

Nice one, Kris. Got my Menefees out this morning for an updated group pic. Just got the Blackwood Western Trapper this week.

My newest Davison. I feel bad that I was very specific on this knife and didn't let him show his artistry. I wanted a user. A bright color so I could see it when dropped or sitting in a pile of tools in the shop, a tough waterproof material on both scales and blades (g10 and 154cm), just the right size (3 3/4"), the blades that I use most set up how I use them most, the shape that I like the feel of and the blades sitting deep. I let him choose the sheild but even then I gave a list of no's lol. But here it is, finished today and hopefully in the mail to me next week.

- sheez, fancy showing a $5 penknife in this thread

.........wow, that is just stunning, Tim - congrats, sir.

That will give you a smile thinking about it, let alone using it :D

Haha ouch. Jk I'm in complete agreement :)

Very nice lineup Ben, glad to see the TBose style bent gunstock is still in the herd~

Rick Menefee

Great looking piece by Rick Kris, I like the use of exposed pins as the hardware.

Some hand jigged bone done by three exceptional makers. Jigged bone has to be one of my favourite mediums due to the sheer amount of hand work that goes into it.
