Custom Traditional Knives

In a way for me it looks a bit like a half-congress-folder. I like the Shing-folder and I got two, but for edc they are nowadays for me a bit too big.
How is the closed length and the blade-length ? Thanks for your help.

Stefan

- many thanks, gentlemen :)

Stephan - the handle is a gnats under 4", big blade 2-7/8" and small 2-1/8"

Very nice selection Ben. Great looking gunstock you acquired. The python micarta shows up alot darker than I imagined in some good lighting.

I recently received a Lanny Clip to add to the group of Bret's work I so enjoy.

Thanks Tim, that micarta is very subtle in person, but has a really cool depth to it. It's very hard to get a pic of what it actually looks like.

Ben, I saw the thread for that monster of a knife on the exchange...that thing is huge!!

Tim, the city knife is the best one out of that group. Although the mammoth is really nice. And that natural micarta trapper! OOOOOO

My Davison's, #one & two, and a couple others with old file work.

The knife with the thicker blade in the middle is D2, and it's #2, the knife below is Todd's first slip joint.

All made from scratch, with no pattern. Out of 1332 slip joints, he's used a pattern a couple times.

They were from Tony Bose and were Wharncliffe Trappers.

And a couple newer Davison's, I have a knife on order from Dr.T that I should have shortly.....:D:thumbup:

Beautiful knives you all have posted - Thank you all for sharing....

Beautiful pieces from Todd Al, I really enjoy the Scagel hole on his 2nd piece.

Yeah it's a beast for sure. Makes my Bull Buster look downright dainty! It carries pretty slim and light for its size though, and is super comfortable in hand.

Those are some beautiful knives from Mr. Davison. Stunning knives throughout this thread and I am really enjoying it. I only have a couple customs so far and will try to get some decent pictures in the next few days so I can contribute.

Beautiful knife Kris, congrats.

Steve is one maker that can do it all, and he does it very well. -:thumbup:
