Is there any other dealers out there that might carry these?
Besides:
TNK
Arizona Custom
Knife Art

Also, can the trigger maze be converted to non AO?

Mr.Clean,I got my Trigger Maze directy from Mr. Ralph.I got it without the AO & he even made the clip "tip up" for me.
Give it a try.Sorry I can't post a link,I'm on my phone right now.

Darrel is the best way to get one of his knives.

Has anyone had a need to utilize Darrel Ralph's customer service ? Trying to decide between a DDR Trigger Maze and a CRK Umnumzaan. Always heard that CRK customer service was great !

Thanks,
John

I have sent a few production (maxx-q and camillus maxx) knives in to Darrels shop for slight lock adjustments, all were returned to me perfect and in a timely manner.

That's the one!

ive tried using pm to reach him. i dont think he checks in here very often.

and i couldn't use his email via the website, and there is no contact info listed.

i tracked down his phone number, called him, and he called back within 10 minutes.

Well, I've tried everything and no dice. Gonna have to put this on the the back burner as I just laid down a payment for an RJ Martin Havoc.

Kinda sucks :(

I recently picked up a Madd Maxx in DLC from the HTM lineup and am tickled to death with it! Everything about it is spot on. I would love to see a bowie blade shape on this frame, please, purty please....:):):)

Have you tried calling the phone number that is on his website?

Darrel and I traded quite a few emails the other day. I ordered a HTM Maxx 5.5 converted to tip up with a non-standard clip.

I have to say he was quick to respond, direct, and patient with me. He got my business.

I can't wait to get it!

Thanks Darrel, I will for sure.

Yes Neil I sure did, left a voice mail too. I think I dropped you a line the other day wondering if you were going to get any Martins or Ralphs in stock?

Man - maybe it's just me? I seem to have the worst luck getting ahold of makers. Or maybe my gmail is going to their junk email?

Just wanted to say Darrel called me personally last night. My emails had been picked out by his spam filters. We had a nice, long talk and that dude is a class act. Told me about some stuff he had working on, his dogs, just a cool guy and a good conversation.
I told him that I had already committed to the Martin and he mentioned that RJ makes great knives and we could do business later, no big deal etc. I sat on it a bit and decided that I had to get one of his knives so I'm going to offload something on the exchange to fund the purchase.
Thanks all, and watch those spam filters!

*edited to add - purchase made! Thanks Darrel! :D:cool::thumbup:

So.... What are you getting?

RH manual Trigger Maze! I love the looks of his other stuff, the all damascus gunhammer, the blake trigger maze, etc. I've got to keep it around a certain size and price point or else I'd shy away from using it and that would be a shame!

I met Mr. Ralph at A. G. Russell's Knife Event last month, and I was very pleasantly surprised! He's such a down-to-earth guy, you'd never know he was a Knifedom Superstar!

I was able to handle the new Mid-tech 5.5s and was blown away. He also mentioned a smaller version, IIRC, that will be coming out soon. Or did I just imagine that? Oh, well. Either way, I really enjoyed talking with him.

I met him at the Santa Barbara show in 09. I'll be seeing him again at the Plaza show in a few months. Down to earth is an understatement. I hope the smaller folder you mentioned is a 4" Maxx! That means he'll be getting to my custom Maxx4!
