David Martin - RIP

Oh so sad news. David will be sorely missed here on the forum. My thoughts and prayers for the family!

I always enjoyed his “On the Farm “ posts sharing his knowledge and expertise with knives and processing meat animals. He always had a good, fair and friendly attitude towards everyone. It’s just so sad and shocking to lose a good one like David Martin. RIP DM
 
My condolences to his wife and family,he was one of the best guys I've ever had the pleasure to talk to on here,matter of fact I just stopped in tonight to see any of his new posts,and read this.He treated me like a longtime friend,I've had many discussions with him and always look forward to his posts and pictures of life on the farm.rest in peace David,God bless.
 
My deepest sympathy and condolences to Leesa and David's family and loved ones. David was always here to help, encourage and inform. He attended shows and represented Buck in admirably. He will be missed, but not forgotten. RIP David.
 
I am saddened! He was a great one to be nice to Newbes like I was years ago! Had a Gazillion tidbits and Buck information especially 110..,
He will be missed
I was in discussions with him reference to his wife doing some scrimshaw for me of my dog…
I along with many others will miss seeing his postings here

I'm at a loss for words. It always felt good to have Mr. Martin respond to a post, it was like a sign of approval. His knowledge of Buck knives was immense. He will surely be missed.
